Kim's Tip on Mykonos
Mykonos, Cyclades & Dodecanese, Greece
On the beach as you get to the shops you will find Pedro, the pelican. He is real and he is alive. If you bother him too much he will attempt to peck at you. The men sit at sunset on blue benches and talk amongst themselves as tourists litter by. there are lots of cats if you like them and lots of tourists.
2.
Matthew's Tip on Athens
Athens, Athens & Attica, Greece
If you head to Athens in the top of their summer, the city is a lot less crowded with large amounts on Atheneans leaving the city to spend time in the country. The parthenon is VERY slippery as the stones have been polished by the feet of millions of visitors over the centuries. The train system is incredible and goes all the way out to the airport. It is worth waiting for a train when you first get in as it will take you right into the city (or even to the plaka). Don't get caught out by the taxi drivers who are know to charge up to 200 Euro depending on how lost you look.

Henriette's Tip on Athens
Athens, Athens & Attica, Greece
Ancient Greece have a very special place in my heart and you can feel the history when you visit Acropolis!! Unfortunately you can't get really close to the temples...but when it is to preserve the temples it is worth it! History is very important but remember to walk down to the plaka area were you can get the feeling of the greek culture as it is now...There are shops, restaurants and of course tourist but it is all good!
6.

Neoi Poroi, Northern Greece, Greece
wonderful beach, great view of mount olympus, calm town
10.
Robert's Tip on Athens
Athens, Athens & Attica, Greece
Photographers take NOTE: For a great view (oustanding picture opps) and solid Greek food at reasonable prices, go to the Strofi Restaurant (at the Acropolis) at Rovertou Gkalli. Head for the rooftop just before sunset and you will experience unforgettable views of the acropolis. For a true bargain and dynamite food, head to Thanasis in Monastiraki on Plateia Avissynias for kebabs or to The Food Company also in Kolonaki on Agannostopoula at the intersection with Dimokritou for salads, greek specialties with a twist and some of the best baked goods you will find in Athens.
