You must try the local sweets Amigdalota, supposedly they are made by a 75 year old grandma. Have fun trying to count how many cats you see, a cat lovers paradise.

Athern is nice in the winter. Stay away from there in the summer- too hot! Walking in the area of Akropolis is a good experience both for the body and mind. Talking the pram out to the beaches takes half an hour from Koukaki-area and is cheap and you travel with locals. Going to the weekly market on saturday in Koukaki is the best place and the cheapest to by all the vegetables and olives you need for the week (and flowers!)

What to Bring: ....Just your romantism!
