Agios Nikolaos People & Culture
Agios Nikolaos, Crete Island, Greece Agios Nikolaos is about 60-70km from Heraklion on the Greek island Crete. You have two main parallel touristic streets that lead to the port with many restaurants, a lake and many tourist shops. Very calm though, so nothing for party people. Above the lake you can have a drink in a bar with a covered terrace with a beautiful view over Agios Nikolaos Good tip? (0) Agios Nikolaos, Crete Island, Greece A city on the northern coast of Crete it houses a very scenic harbour and access can be gained to the leper colony by boat for a day trip. But get there early. Good tip? (0) Agios Nikolaos, Crete Island, Greece For sure the most picturesque city in Crete, in my belief in Greece too. A small port with restaurants all around, pretty streets, nice shops. Breathtaking view from the upper part of the city- some kind of squere with trees on the hill, from where you can see the bay and port.. I love it, it's fabulous.. ANd the special Greek atmosphere in there.. Great;] Good tip? (0) Bradt Travel Guides |
