0555Naxos was very romantic...The view we had from the rented villa that overlooked the blue domes homes on the hillside and the Aegean Sea was ridiculous. Making the trip to Naxos is worth one's time and money. This was especially good news to me as I went as a backpacker, so I thought I stumbled onto the deal of the century. In hindsight, I did.

071If you travel to Apiranthos by bus, make certain you know some basic Greek. Our bus stopped at a school and loaded up with kids on the way home, and we took quite a ride through the mountains. Fortunately, I knew a little.
