Santorini is beautiful.  I recommend renting a scooter to see the entire island- they are usually no more than 20 dollars a day and give you a real feel of the place.  Also the Santos winery has a wine tasting terrace that overlooks the caldera. Sunsets and wine what a pairing!

You need at least 3 nights at santorini to really tour the island!

One of the most magical places on earth. As soon as we pulled into the Caldera (via cruise ship), my heart was stolen. More amazing  than pictures. More beautiful than any place you have ever seen. The white little buildings soar high above the crater of the volcano and the only way up to the top is through donkeys, cable car, or walking up hundreds of steps! (Which I wouldn't recommend since there is a lot of Donkey grossness on the floor, lol. And it stinks ;-). It is peaceful and just beautiful. Incredible views wherever you go. The shopping is lovely. Make sure you purchase a piece of jewelry made with volcanic ash! There is a lot of that there. I would recommend Santorini if you truly want a relaxing and inspiring vacation!
