002I always travel in Winter.. the greek islands are stunning in winter.. however you need a hell of a lot of cash..because your paying for whatever you can get thats open.. you need to hire a car to see places.. no public transport..and take a friend.. the greeks are in hibernation and are very quiet. be a great place for a honeymoon or to go off with a few friends. summer is different again..but its all euro..and its damn expensive after a while. they are all out for a buck.
