Metsovon Travel Guide

After detouring down off the scary and spectacular Katara Pass (over 6,000ft high above!), you'll be awed with the picturesque village of Metsovo.  It is a traditional village belonging to another time and unlike any you'll stumble upon in Greece.  You are treated to amazing hospitality by villagers still wearing traditional middle-age clothing!  Stone houses, wooden verandas and cobbled roads leave you spellbound in this traditional unique settlement.

Small city in Greece close to Kalambaka and Meterora. It deserves one afternoon to take a coffee ("frappe") in one of the terraces, and a local food in one of the many restaurant surrounding the main square. Many local tourists.
