Travel Tips from people who've been to Thasos
Thasos is northern Greek island which is also called emerald isle because of beautiful emerald sea which is located around Thassos. The main town of Thassos is Limenas also called Thassos town where you can find some historical sights, but I love town Limenaria most of all. It's the second largest town on this island. It is in the southern part of Thassos and you can find there paradise in the world :) I really recommend to attend this town!!! Good tip? (0) If your feeling up to it, take a walk Mount Ipsario, You should strart early and take a packed lunch and pleanty of water. It is a steady incline up zig-zaging pathways but on the very last part it is a bit shaky underfoot (scree). It is possible to get up there by road but that is not half as much fun. The view form the top is fantastic :-) Good tip?
