it is a magical place and though it's a small museum you will find the most stricking treasures to see!! in order to get there you pass over Aliakmonas and i suggest you make a stop to Veroia which is only 10-15 minutes away! after your visit let me know how it is possible for a single soul to believe there is even the possibility of Macedonia or Alexander the Great to be of another origin!

I recommend to everybody whose way passes nearby, to pay a visit to Vergina. It is a must to see the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great! Loads of interesting things to see in it.

Bear in mind there is no good place for eating in Vergina. Just a few restaurants, which are the canteen-type.
