I got stuck here after missing a ferry connection. It is a port city with not a lot to do. The people were very friendly, and though not many spoke English, they were very helpful.

If you are sporty, you can walk from Mykene train station to the castle's remains. But don't take your backpack with you, it's too exhausting!! you can ask in a restaurant if you could leave it there for a while (very nice people!!!!). Take enough water with you and wear a hat, otherwise you could easily get a sunstroke!! :-)

Beautiful island off the west coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea. Warm waters, famous attractions. Great people, great food. Highly recommended!

The train from here (if you caught the ferry from Italy you likely ended up in Patras) to Athens is probably one of the worst train journeys I have been on, incredibly crowded, read: culture shock, very very hot, and takes at least double the time it should. If you are in Patras, you can easily make your way to Olympia connecting in Pyrgos. Well worth the visit- it is a beautiful place!

If you like parties, loud music and all you should go to Argasi and Tsilivi. If you enjoy more quiet places definitely visit Bochali (try Movido bar) and bar Island at Argasi.

Lefkas is fantastic! Go there, stay there for a week - buy everything you need at a small shop. Use the only taxi on the island! Take a snorkel and mask and a good book. You'll see around 5 other tourists maximum wherever you go!

Have fun with activities such as water skiing,wakeboarding, sports, hors riding @ Porto Hydra Hotel in Porto Hydra( 15' from Ermioni by car), eat at Ganosis or Veggera in Ermioni, have a drink at Aigli, go clubbing at Casa Dei/ Allday, swin at Xrysi Ammos, Sentoni, Kouverta... Visit Porto Heli (30' by car from Ermioni).. Stay at Ganosis Apartments, Makis Inn (Thermisia) or even at Porto Hydra's bungalows!

Try the restaurant (greek tavern) at Keri, the one about 200m before Faros, it is great and has a very nice veiw of Mitzithres, two small islands. It also has the biggest flag in the world. Also you can try a restaurant at Xingia which is at the edge of a mountain and has good food and veiw as well as the restaurant at Dafni beach (I reccomend fish..)! Some people like restaurants at St.Marcus Sq. in Zakynthos but i didn't..

It's a small Fishing town. Nice but nothing extraordinary. The special thig about Kyllini is the old light house: It's on a small island where you oly can go by bot. Ask a fisher man if he can take you there.

When you hike to the fortress above Nafplio, bring LOTS of water! After the long hike up the mountain, and back down, dip your toes in the water at the beach below where bright fish swim around the rocks. When you've cooled off, hit up the open air restaurants in the Olde Quarter for some fresh seafood.

If you are ever in Malta you must see The Blue Grotto! It is phenomenally beautiful!

You have to go during the summer. Great beach with very good beach bars. It is pretty crouded and it costs a lot but it is worthwhile. Do not forget to visit the casino (one of the most popular in Greece).

If you go in the off season, it is a nice island with fairly cheap prices. During the summer it is all partying.

Corfu and Corfu Town. Rent a scooter and see the whole island. Watch the the sunset at a beautiful spot. Many young americans talked about a hostel/hotel called the Pink Pallace- never went there.

Is such a wonderfull island the views are amazing, the food is delcious...
