it s not very big city but it s nice and really rush...full of uk and italian travellers...
it s full of bars and discos....the best is bass club....
the best time for visit is from june to august...in other months is not so rush...

*Danger/Annoyances: Be Careful On The Roads, On Buses, Crossing The Street.
*Food/Restaurants: Not Much Of A Selection In General. Good Food Costs Good Money. Try Buying Groceries Make Yourself A Meal When You Can.
*Hotel Accom.: Many Hotels Have Very Bad Outdated Sewage Systems, Smells Can Be Bad All Day. Best Place I Stayed Was The "Pink Palace" Hostel - Amazing People Amazing Party!
*Transportation: Rent An Atv. I Spent My Week Traveling All Of Corfu On A Atv. Be Sure To Have A Map Fill The Gas Often.
*Nightlife: Aside From The "Pink Palace" There Wasn't Much Nightlife To Brag About The Bartenders, Waitress's, Etc.. Have A Habit Of Putting Down Any European That Looks Turkish, Arabic, Etc.. Not To Your Face But To Any Half Decent Looking People. Beware Outside Of Clubs For Peddlers
*General Impressions: Although I Enjoyed Corfu, It's Not A Place I Would Ever Return To Or Recommend. People Of Corfu Where Generally Very Rude, Un-Educated, Rarely Spoke English, Not Very Helpful, Etc..
*Landscapes: The Land Is Very Beautiful. Many Mountains Very Beautiful Beaches That Were 9 Out Of 10 Times Without Many People.

Petit village très sympa et je vous recommande le camping où j'ai passé 4 jours : Fournia Beach (ils ont un site internet). Très bon accueil, les emplacements sont à l'ombre, plage quasi-privée (de notre tente on voyait la mer ionienne), sanitaires propres, petit super-market...)
Pas mal de tavernes et restaurants dans le village pour dîner.
Attention pas de distributeur d'argent, il faut aller jusqu'à Killini Porto à quelques kilomètres... (attention à vous approvisionner avant car en Grèce ils ne connaissent pas la carte bancaire !!!)
On peut aussi visiter le château franc de Chlémoutsi (gratuit pour les étudiants de l'UE).

If you are ever in Malta you must see The Blue Grotto! It is phenomenally beautiful!

You have to go during the summer. Great beach with very good beach bars. It is pretty crouded and it costs a lot but it is worthwhile. Do not forget to visit the casino (one of the most popular in Greece).

If you go in the off season, it is a nice island with fairly cheap prices. During the summer it is all partying.

Corfu and Corfu Town. Rent a scooter and see the whole island. Watch the the sunset at a beautiful spot. Many young americans talked about a hostel/hotel called the Pink Pallace- never went there.
