Argostolion is the capital city of Kefalonia island. It is a very beautiful place located on the west-centre of the island, various and contrasting offerings to the visitor. It combines the activities of a city with the picturesqueness of a village. It's the place where a tourist can find anything that has to do with banks, postal companies etc, however, one can find quiet small place where he can relax having a drink or two... It gives to a so ''warm'' sense that leads me to admit that it is the only place that i could leave Athens for!

If you wish to go to Sidrion and visit the one and only Canal D'Amore and you are staying at some other place on the Corfu Island, my advice is to go by bus cause the road to there is very hard, curvy and tight so it is hard to drive. The buses leave from Kerkyras' bus station and the ticket is cheep (round 4 euros). But make sure to ask when is the last bus back to Kerkyra cause you will have to stay there. The taxi is very expensive. I believe that the last bus back is round 6pm.
Make sure to visit the Canal and swim around cause they say it is good for your love life and you will shortly after fall in love and live happily ever after (not proven by any).

Corfù è un'isola che offre molto: mare, spiagge affollate, baie nascoste e solitarie, scorci fantastici, locali, ulivi, fiorente paese, località più in collina...Un'isola per tutti, da chi cerca acque limpidissime e ama la tranquillità a chi cerca il divertimento e vuole conoscere gente. Seppur la più vicina delle siole greche, quindi facile da raggiungere, presenta le caratteristiche della grecia...consigliatissima da girare in motorino.
