Its a small village, but there is plenty to do for a weeks holliday. Visit the icecap, go dog-sledhing, ice fishing and much more. The hostel "old camp" is a very nice and clean place to stay.

Rent a bike in old camp and go up black ridge. Very good view of the city and af the Ice. The musk trips should be great too..
