Travel Tips from people who've been to Kulusuk
Great helicopter ride from Kulusuk to Ammassalik - when we left for the airport there was a massive wind storm - the helicopter was blowing to 90 degree angles perpendicular to the ocean below and the cliff next to us in succession - with four people stuffed against the glass in the back seat I just sat back and assumed it was like a roller coaster ride and the pilot being 60 must have known what he was doing to be alive having dealt with those Greenlandic weather conditions many times in the past - then it was fun! Good tip? (0) Loking for a legal polar bear skin or a typical postmans bag? go for it here good prices and high quality!! Just remember it is not allowed to import polarbear skins to USA!!! Good tip?
