  03118Ilulissat is one of the most enchanting and incredibly beautiful places I've ever seen till now!! It represents one of the most wonderful and most beyond words experiences of my life. One you visit Ilulissat you shall have a boat trip through the huge icebergs floating at the estuary of the immense glacier river, which moves 30m per day!! Than you shall have long walks through the city and go up on the mountain where you can observe the entire glacier and icebers...such breathtaking view!!! The inhabitants are very friendly and extremely nice people, ready to smile and to talk. Definitively an unique and very special place. You should be well equipped with warm clothing and hiking shoes. It is perfectly normal if it rains or snows, it is authentic if it is foggy, so do not complain about harsh weather conditions!!! Good tip? (0)  0815One of the most off the track places that I wisited. If you expect museums, restorants, shops and monuments you are up to big disappointment. What you will se here is down to earth, no fuss very local life with one restaurant/bar/ 'inn place' (easy to recognize by the car sticking out of the first floor wall – very original). One tip for all of the fellow vegetarians do not even bother to find something to eat around here since everything consist of something that used to either walk or swim. Good tip? (0)  0181Take good shoes, go there in summer good oppertunities for tracking, sailing, fishing, you can find everything in stores or the most things you'll need. Or in winter you may wanna ski its not far from the town to the skiing places. You can also ski in summer jut take a short sail trip to Apussuit near Maniitsoq (Sukkertoppen).People there can be a bit shy just smile and say hi:) Good tip? (0)
