001In stead of paying in euro's the restaurants will do a straight exchange if you only have us dollars.
Most people on the french side will only speak french (even if they do speak english). All the shops close from noon to 2pm every day.

060287When in Marigot, make sure you take a walk up to the fort for fantastic views of the harbour. Down by the harbour there is a bright and lively market. Remember that this part of St, Marten is French and takes the euro
