  0171Livingston is a small Guatemalan town with a very large black Garifuna community. It gives the place a very Carribean'esque feeling. You should check it out during Semana Santa when everybody is in a vacation mood and when the sound systems come out at night. Imagine the party going on till very late with the good music, lots of dancing, lots of very local-cheap-delicious rhum etc. ... Lingston? C' est chic. Good tip? (0)  04054After entering Guatemala from Belize, there are many taxis asking you to bring you to the bus station. No need! Just walk over the bridge and just on the rightside there you will see a house (the bus station)! There is an other station a little further but the busses to Flores go from here and if there is no bus they can call the other station from there. A ride to Flores: 20 Quetzales per person (2007). (0)  005Stayed at a resort on the island, had to be tendered from ship and saw a dozen wild dolphins, our guides were more than willing to wait out several people wanting to take pictures of such a magnificent find.
