0332Haven't been there in years, but when I was there there was no road, only a boat connection. Very simple and limited accomdations, and the "town" really consists of only a few buildings. Get supplies in Panajachel, and try to make food and housing arrangements before you get there. Good place to just stare at the beautiful lake.
