097Stayed at the Marriott 5* Resort in O'hau thoroughly recommend it's location, & the Resort itself, exquisitely beautiful right where the Lost series are filmed at the rear of Resort.... A 1/2 drive from Waikiki. sat right next to Macaulay Culkin at lunch! (trivia)!!!

0155When driving to remote beaches on Kauii, don't park in random lots with no assigned places. Our car was victim of a hit and run, and there were no witnesses. Try parking further from the beach. The extra walk is worth saving the headaches of dealing with damage to a rental car.

0157What can I say, these are one of the most beautiful set of islands in the world. Get a feeling of really being away from it all while still being in the US. Something for everyone. Big city life of Waikiki and Honolulu as well as the low-key island lifestyle of the north shore.
