When you approach the Vatican you maybe approached by people telling you that they are offering tours of the Vatican and that their tickets are cheaper. This is untrue!!! They were going to charge us 40 euro each to tour the Vatican. The actual tour available at the Vatican only costs 24 euro and the line is reasonably long.

for those who just got married, to be able to get the Pope's marriage blessing in person, you have to attend the wed mass in your wedding dress, or wear white. contact your country ambassador/embassy to get the necessary pass and some tips as well. We sort of missed out on this during our honeymoon, coz although we were seated really close to Pope John Paul II, we did not get the personal blessing coz no one told us that we(or at least I) have to wear white.
