Utila, Carribean Hoduras, Honduras
If you wish to dive Crosscreek Dive Center provides also free rooms to stay and free internet! (2007)
There are double rooms, rooms for 4 and 6 people.
Roatan, Carribean Hoduras, Honduras
One of the best dive spots in the Caribbean, and cheap (10 dives US$20 a dive typically). Catch the ferry from La Cieba, get a taxi to West End. There are tons of funky little bars and restaurants, and a lot of dive schools, which encourages competition. I used Coconut Tree Divers, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Oh, and because Roatan was settled by slaves dumped by the British, everyone speaks English not Spanish. Only downside I could find was that the beach has a lot of sandflies.
Copan, Inland Honduras, Honduras
Copan is nice ruine, nice town, nice guesthouses and good food
Copan, Inland Honduras, Honduras
Make sure to visit the Copan Ruins they're spectacular! You can also pay for a guide who speaks English and will explain everything to you. They also take US dollars

If you can find it, the "Bite on the Beach" is well worth the effort. The food, service and setting can not be beaten. The deck, on which the dinner tables and bar are located, over hang the rocks leading to the ocean. Truly awesome. We were there during a thundershower, but stayed dry at the bar. It's cool.
Isla de Roatan, Carribean Hoduras, Honduras
One of my very favorite dive trips.  Stayed at the CocoView Resort.  It felt like a piece of home, everyone there took such good carer  of us!  Loved our room cabin on the water, heard the waves right under our floor! Wall of screen facing out to the ocean! Awesome diving as well!
Copen, Carribean Hoduras, Honduras
It's Copan Ruins not 'Copen'. They are quite spectacular. If you are planning to go and see Tikal in Guatemala, come to Copan first. the town is lovely, lots of nice restaurants, shops and many different things to do. There's a lovely Coffee Finca that you can get to on horseback. Worth the time!
Tegucigalpa, Inland Honduras, Honduras
I'm afraid I drove right by this one.
