Hong Kong (SAR) - Culture

Once you enter Hong Kong, you will see a mixture of the very ancient past (of Chinese culture), the more recent past (of the British administration days), and the newer Hong Kong.

They appear in the form of architecture (Chinese temples, churches, monuments, for example), language, music (Cantonese operas, Canto-pops and western music), food (Chinese dim-sum, Hong Kong style cake-shops, American, British, Mediterranean food), how people dress, and how people live.  You may also find western-trained medical clinics sitting next to Chinese herbal medicine shops.  The list is limitless.

If you would like to dig deeper into Chinese culture, you can attend Tai Chi, Feng Shui, Kung Fu, Chinese Tea, Chinese Antique and Chinese jewellery appreciation classes.
