  8232127The Castle at Visegrad is very good and the views down amazing. Good commentary in many languages will help you through the exhibits and evoke the Medieval air of the place. There is a pathway up the hill if you don't have a car, it may be tricky to find. Turn right on the dirtpath once you pass the lower castle and walk a bit further past on the cobbled road. It is a good hike up if you are moderately fit. Good tip? (0)  007Visegrad is a cute town, oustide of Budapest near the Danube bend or Dunakanyar. It features several historical buildings and forts with a citadel type area that allows beautiful vantage points of the Danube. Rumor has it Vlad Tsepes (Dracula) was at this very location at some point while fighting the Turks. Good tip? (0)  012328visit the old capital of the Hungarian Kingdom is a great fun. U can go from Budapest with bus, car or boat. It is a great full day trip.
