The Kiskunság National Park Management Centre is in charge of an approximate 300,000 acres of protected area. Within the protected areas there are now numerous tourist trails, study trails and lookouts, all contributing to a unique experience of the Kiskunság. The exhibition venues offer the opportunity to get aquainted with the natural heritage and cultural history of the region. Be sure that you travel date matches with the wine festival they do have in late spring time. It lasts for a week and offers a great choice of wines for a very attractive price (after you taste and like it!). Good food and local music acompany the event.
