Zalaegerszeg (hope I didn't mistyped it) is a pleasant, very Hungarian town. The urban settlement is certainly worth a visit as are its many clubs and restaurants. On a hill overlooking the town lies the Aqua Park and Thermal Bath. The park has 13 giant slides and 12 pools. From the top of its wooden tower there is an amazing view of the town. If I remember correctly the opening hours are 10am-8pm. Great fun! Only in summer, though...

For a good meal, try the Belgian Beer Cafe, the Arany Baran Hotel or the Dominica Bar. There are not many English speakers here, so it would pay to brush up on your German
