The most famous retaurant in Iceland, occupying the revolving top of 'The Pearl', is notoriously expensive, but there's plenty else to do here. Below the main restaurant is a small shop and café where you can get some..

Mount Esja is 914m above sea level and it offers one of the best view of the city. Esja is a mountain chain and further from Reykjavik is Skaftafell skiing range in its hills. Many fun trails can be walked on Mt. Esja..

Iceland is a great place to visit for up to a week. Just don't stay in Reykjavik for the whole time... you will get bored. Rent a car and drive into the countryside fro a lot o variety.

Grotta, Iceland
I don't recommend staying there for too long because of the tidal waves :) apart from that it's a nice place but being stuck there for a long time sucks

Okay first things first you have 2 go to the hot springs cause they are absolutley wonderfull for your skin. The people are really friendly and the food is good. But 1 thing u have to do is go to the spas and the hot springs.

Join the "runtur" or pub crawl - the Icelanders are at their most social and talkative while enebriated! Be aware that no place gets kicking until after midnight, but when it does it's bound to stay busy until well in the night. If you want to start earlier, just go out for a meal before or have a few drinks at home to warm up. Also, any other night than the Friday or Saturday will see most of Reykjavík's nocturnal spots quite desolated, so make the most of it during the weekend.

great country best period to visit is june-august, but even then it can be a bit chilly. after arriving make sure to go to the "Blue Lagoon" ... great to relax after a couple of hours in the plain. if you want to enjoy a more relaxing visit of the whole country, take 8 to 10 days, otherwise you will be driving to much compared to the walking you can do. if you have the time, joine a whale-safari (in Vik or Husavik) there is a 90% chance to see whales. but don't go whens the sea is agitated :-) superb nature, have a blast !!!
