Great spot.. wonderful if you are doing a self drive around Iceland.  From Vik you can ride the fabulous Icelandic horses or just a short distance away a glacier trek on the largest glacier in Iceland, "Vatnajokull".  Great hotel is Hotel Vik.

Vik is a City in Southern Iceland - Just take road No 1 and go any direction and you will find it (Road No. 1 is round the Iceland)
