  25171561A very sobering city for me really ... the tuberculosis sanatorium here housed several when treatment for the disease was not available ... several famous ones too such as from the Gandhi family... but otherwise nothing much to this tiny town ... it mainly serves as a junction when you want to head up to the hill stations in Uttaranchal and there are lovely seasonal fruits to buy also...
