Amritsar Travel Guide

Amritsar is the most amazing place I have ever been. The main focus of my time there was to see the Golden Temple which has got to be the most magnificent sight I have ever seen! Spending 5 hours there was till too short and I wish I could've stayed there longer! I suggest bringing a camera to make sure you capture the beauty of it all and be prepared to meet people of all races, from all parts of the world coming to see this historic monument. I promise that EVERYONE will leave in awe!

Do go to Mata Temple. It is said to be a cave tample and I expected a natural rock cave or something, but it is just a huge building where you can wander in labyrith of starecases and rooms. Despite its' artificiality it's amazing!

I had even more fun as I run into celebration of Lal Devi's birthday, so there were many devotees and a lot of attractions! However wandering in the building itself is great.

Amristar city in the state of Punjab, India-biggest atraction is Golden Temple(for me it`s more worth to see than Taj Mahal -sorry but this is my opinion)- you can sleep there and eat for free just ask at entrance
