Tiger spot and wildlife sanctuary in UP... when I went there as a child, a tiger came out from the shrubs on to the road we were driving on, calmly looked at us at a few meters from it, and while we rolled up windows and sunk out sight scared, it coolly decided on a nap right there, in the middle of the road, in front of us ... we had to wait till that was completed, the tiger walked off as if nothing had happened, and we breathed in relief and started the car ... nowadays, with their dwindling numbers, one is unlikely to be that fortunate ...
