Hi, travellers, Fatepur Sikiri is a nice place to visit for about half day. Taxi will definitely be the easiest way to get there from Agra and it won't not expensive either. But taking Auto Rickshaw from your hotel to the bus stationa and taking local bus from there will also be a great way to see real local people's life. It's nice to have a meal at marketplace, I still have vivid memory of Chapati I had there. It will be an ok idea to hire a local guide if you want to know more about the place. You don't have to pay a lot, it'll be just about 1~2 dollar for you and co travellers if you have any. There are a few guesthouses in Fatepur Sikiri, but most people go there just for half day and come back to Agra.

Easiest way to get there is by taxi from Agra. Not expensive, especially if you're splitting the cab.
Make it a half day trip, and get there very early, preferably for sunrise, as it is absolutely beautiful there.
