Famous for its association with the god Krishna and for its wild festival of colours Holi, do stop here even otherwise if it falls your way (while going to Agra for instance) ... gorge on its famed pedas (Indian sweet), walk its ancient narrow streets, and check out the unbelivable Banyan tree, huge and old, in the city ...

The boat tours to the other side of the yamuna though vaguely interesting are not worth the 200 rupees they will try to charge you. Stay in the city, it's big and there's tons to see with out crossing the river.
