You can skip this city if you like...nothing much happening here travel-wise, and the city's history has been overtaken by its status as UP's industrial hub... its an urban mess and quite dirty...

You really have to visit the Kamasutra Temples here, make sure you have a good guide because there's a lot of history that's very interesting!

It's a big city, under development, has both local and westernized markets, you can find anything there, infrastructure is better than in other cities but as always beware of thieves ans pickpockets... you'll find both poor and rich people, rich areas as well as slums... for activities like sightseeing, well if you like ancient ruins and history you'll like it...
