This is a great little place to come to. I personally would avoid places like Jaipur, way too dirty and busy to enjoy.
Bundi has loads of character...has lots of pedestrian only streets, is very pretty...would definitely recommend coming here for a few days.
We stayed up in one of the guest houses close to the palace, had amazing views of the palace from my bedroom..felt like a 5* location, yet cost about 15 euros for the night.
Make sure you walk up to the Palace and grab a stick while you are walking up to keep the hoards of monkeys at bay...we walked through a large troop, but just looked down and made sure we weren't threatening and they completely ignored us.
