Travel Tips from people who've been to Pune
Check out the remnanats of Osho's commune and its followers clad in deep red ... and don't miss the lovely bakeries of Pune with their breads, cakes and biscuits... Good tip? (0) Pune (or Poonah) is famous for the Osho ashram (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh ashram). It's a meditation temple that is somewhat unconventional. It's a religiously neutral ashram that doesn't ever tell you what you can't do but what you can. It's a good experience for those with an open mind but doesn't suit those with fixed religious ideas. Good tip? (0) Pune is a beautiful city with beautiful people. It's very similar to another Indian cities, but from my point of view it's one of the best ones. For foreigners, Koregaon Park is the best place. There are a lot of restaurants and services in that area. For cultural visits, I love the views from the Pavarti Hill Temple!!! Good tip? (0)
