There a small choice of hotel in Buntok, there is Linda Hotel on the center of Buntok (near Pasar Baru), not so good but it's the largest this city have.
But if you want the cheapest ones, you can try many small inn and hostel at "Pelabuhan Lama" or along Jln.Panglima Batur, just asking around for it.
If you've some luck you can have a nice sleep with only $1/night (without meal)!! Cheap!! Yeah... really cheap :)
