Kuta Travel Guide

Kuta is now a touristic low budget city, Kuta has heaps of shops where they generaly all sell the same. Kuta has a nice big beach, which is good when you're a beginning surfer. When you walk down the street or just lay down on the beach, you will be constantly bothered by people who want to sell you about everything, from massage to renting surfboards, and from all kinds of fruits and drinks to bow 'n arrows. renting a longboard is also very cheap costs about 30.000 rph for 2 hours,if you plan to rent a surfboard daily, better stay with the same people for all your needs. because they'll see you as a friend an give you better price, also they'll protect you from other hasslers.staying in a hostel can be very cheap from 15000 roepiah (1 euro) until 80.000 roepiah.But you'll also find good hotels with all facility's included from 150.000 roepiah. also be careful when you change money,better go to big national banks.

Jalan Legian is the center of night life on Bali. You can find many restaurants, bars and discos in there. At night you have to be carefull with pickpocketers and awere agressive persons. Its kind of a chaos araund the disco entrances. But at all its a good place to hang out or partying just be carefull. Its easy to get back to your hotel couse there is loads of taxis and motor taxis (ojek) araund the street. And dont be shy to bargain :)

Kuta is a very touristic city. You won't really discover the balinese culture if you stay there during you're whole stay. You have to go inland to discover it.
