  1. Research online for the best rates - I suggest asiarooms.com or asiatravel.com
  2. If going as a group, book a villa instead and bring your own food to cook - it's like having a chalet out of Singapore and you'll save more too!
  3. Request for massages in your room - it tends to be slightly cheaper than having the massage in the spa
  4. In shops, bargain, bargain, bargain! They know you're from Singapore and they know you've got money.

There's an outdoor massage at Nirwana Resort. It is done in a gazebo near to the beach. Very nice ambience. However, i kept sweating during the massage because i felt warm. Not very windy inside the gazebo. Outdoor massage may seem like a cool idea but it's not practical for me. It'll be better if the massage is done in an air-con room with a beach view instead.
