Check the market place for pistachios and dates but for buying gold and carpets wait for other bigger cities like Teheran, Better prices and quality there.Don`t forget to taste the strong and delicious black iranian tea at the end of a long day:)

009An absolute amazing place that doesn't resemble the rest of the Islamic Republic of Iran at all. Amazing architecture very similar to that of the Dubai (UAE). If you have an interest in Iran make this a stop on your to do list!
