0026Tullamore is a lively town in the midlands in Ireland. There are plently of golf courses, equestrian centres, mountains to hike on, rivers to fish from and good quality hotels to stay in. Watch out for the Fleadh Cheoil in August 2008 and the Phoenix festival every July. There are good restuarants here namely the Acorn and the Anatolia.

001There is not much in there, but if you end up in Tullamore, there is the "Tullamore Dew" museum that is nice. And if you walk along the 'Canal", you will find a lovely old bridge and what is left of an old guard tower. Great for picnics!
And the pubs, Always try the pubs! The Bruins!
