Travel Tips from people who've been to Limerick
It's not exactly Limmerick (ca one hour from Limmerick with a bus), I think the town is too small to find it on this map. The town would be called Abbeyfeale. Anyway, there is the "Fitzgerald's Farmhouse" with lots of horses and a lovely atmosphere. It's possible to stay there for holidays, or to work there for getting a one or two hours ride every day. Or it's also possible to just stay there and enjoy the nature. They have built a little Zoo with birds and other small animals. In summertime there are also camps for the local Horse-fans.. Good tip? (0) I once shared a bus with some French, A few hefty men and a wench, I can only describe, The smell left inside, As a terrible sick-making stench. My Limerick, written on a bus in Limerick. Good tip? (0) I asked an Older gent at breakfast where to go for good traditional music. He said "take this bus here into Limirick, it stops at the bus station, get out of this god forsaken city and head north to Galway"
so I did, and thats where I heard some slammin fiddlin. Good tip? (0)
