County Clare Travel Guide

Take your time to explore Country Clare.
The Cliffs of Moher are very touristic with lots of people, the not so famous cliffs (south) of Killrush are also nice to visit on a rainy or stormy day!
Try visiting the Aran Island (in particular Inishmore). Go by boat (from Doolin) and rent a bike to explore the islands.
Go walking in the Burren or drive through with your car. Take a few moments to enjoy the mistic Poulnabrone Dolmen.

Now this is a fun place! Not only is Ireland a beautiful country where swearing and drinking is just as vital as breathing and having a leek, it's also the people that make it a place where you can have the time of your life! Taken from my own brain bashing drunk expierence's I can give you the best tips on how to make your visit unforgettable. First, find yourself some irish mates, go out drinking untill your about as intelligent as George Bush, then try and speak german to some nasty looking guy in a back alley. Souvenir's are all included and will never be forgotten! Seriously, the place is great, but for god's sake, stick to english.

I visited Inis the week of July 4th.  They have an amazing 4th of July celebration that includes street dances, outdoor markets, etc.  The people were VERY friendly.  This part of Ireland felt really authentic since it doesn't have as much tourism as the larger cities.  There are many geological landforms in the area.  I also enjoyed touring some of the areas castles.  It was the most beautiful place I have ever been.  I had the opportunity to travel to Waterford for a day, but passed it up to spend an extra day just exploring the little shops and pubs in Inis.
