Go to the Sea of Galilee, considered the birthplace of Christianity or alternatively turn towards the desert that surrounds the Dead Sea – where the abandoned Nabatean cities of Avdat and Shivta can be found. Spend some time hiking down Wadi Kelt, and get views of extraordinary canyons, or go on a llama trek in the Ramon Crater. To top it all off, snorkel or scuba dive in the Dead Sea itself, where some of the most amazing coral reefs and wildlife await. The regions off of Coral Island are legendary.
