In the old center there is a church where they say Joseph's shop was.
To discover the north of Israel, get a car and drive a round for a day or two. Nazareth is a good place to stop but not to stay for too long.

don't get confused by the two churches - the Orthodox church contains "Mary's Well" and is just up the road from the Roman Catholic "Basilica of the Anunciation"
