Best Time to Visit Israel
Jerusalem, Israel
I discovered completely by accident that one of the best times to visit Jerusalem is doing the Yom Kippur which is the holiest day for the Jewish people. On this day, you won't find one soul on the streets of East Jerusalem, no shops nor restaurants open, no cars, not even the traffic lights are on. Then you will cross the street to West Jerusalem which is the Muslim district to find lively markets, people shouting, traffic jams.... this was the most wicked travel experience I ever had! =)

En Boqeq, South (The Negev), Israel
A good place to swim in the Dead Sea here. Don't go in if you have just shaved - it will hurt like hell! Use the free changing and toilet facilities at the oulet shop just next to the beach. By swim, I mean float on your back. Take a newspaper so someone can take the typical tourist photo of you.reading in the sea. You will be 420m below sea level as the level of the dead sea keeps dropping.

Jerusalem, Israel
if you go to Jerusalem you have to stay in the Abraham hostel .you get a very nice breakfast (serials, grapes, cheese, bread, jam, coffee, thee, milk, etc) all the rooms have a keys.the dorm room was pretty big for a hostel, there was a sink, and shower with a toilet. there is always something to do in and around the hostel. in the hostel you can follow a 1 hour free lesson in Hebrew or Arabic.there is open mic night,or info about how to travel in Israel. so you see there is just to much to tell and see about this hostel, so my advice go to the Abraham hostel and enjoy Jerusalem .

If you are in Haifa, a visit to the Bahai Gardens is a must. This totally symetrical work of art is absoluetly gorgeous, you will want to take photos from every angle possible. Tip for women travellers, remember to have something to cover your shoulders whilst touring the gardens.

When your visa has long expired, and you want to go home, just go to the Foreign Office and they'll pay your flight home. It's in the huge tower between the city and old Jaffa.

i love the dead sea although its dead it gives u life, it is so basic that the pleasures to seek are found in the springs black mud and salty sea that has so much beyonce that it feels like its trying to spit u out.i would say my last trip trip had equal doses of the good the bad ad the ugly. i turned up o a jewish holidy without a room in summer, u whould book and my oly option was to sleep i a room with yaba a russian woman who seemed to be dieig of terrible flesh wouds there was o air con ad she wailed i the night. poor yaba i could only suggest pee but i think she found it pretty uouthodox ad only spoke russia, she could only say allo vera allo vare but there was non, the reseptionist was a very agressive lady with a chain metal bra who was about to retire i a week ad was givig all her gusto in beibg the worst customer service in history the security gard was a hot hippy who had a two gun belt ad a bucket of gat that kept him stoned and horny at all times, i then got a massage from beeny who is a guy who drives a jeep around wildly in just his pants with a bunch of bewildered dogs i the back, i took up the beey special massage because he is a therapist aparetly well he splashed me with a half litter bottle of sesame oil and went at me like a jewish mother to a snitzel, it was appaling, then after beatig off the other guys jesus in heaven i was tired i eeded a break, then the very quite bedwin gardeer came forward ad saved me, we had a even of pipes dancig good food made from desert herbs and some hands on healing and some good stories. i was very greatful for his hospitality ad left the next day for jeruselem refreshed.............but then there where the fucking christian fudamentalists to deal with.......... for half this trip i did stay in the field school which is like a concrete bunker with an outside museum full of stuffed animals , the place feels deserted so its peaceful with absolutly beautiful views ad many ibexand a very fantastic buffet made at night by some very nice palistinia boys.

Jerusalem, Israel
Make sure you walk the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) as well as take the tour around Temple Mount. It’s a surreal mixture of cultures from around the world. If you are going to visit the Western Wall, make sure your attire is appropriate. For those unfamiliar with the local customs, Dairy Bars are very common and do not serve meat, but rather cheese, breads, salads, vegetables and pizzas. You can find more 'western' restaurants in West Jerusalem and in the Old City. We walked around the Old City for hours and loved every minute of it. Also, remember that everyone there serves in the military. Don’t be put off by all the young Israelis in fatigues and carrying automatic weapons – it is perfectly safe to visit.

Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv & Surrounds, Israel
The best and cheapest way to get from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem or vice versa, is with the multiple person taxis that run between the two cities. It is convenient since you just pile in and wait for the taxi to fill up to the point where the driver feels he has enough passengers and off you go. Just DO NOT expect to carry a huge backback or any suitcases with you. This is a commuter taxi, not a luggage transportation service!
