Amalfi has some nice ruins and ancient cities, and a decent number of travelers making their way through Italy stop by Amalfi to check them out. The most popular attraction in Amalfi is the Atrani. Take some time to explore this Amalfi travel guide to find out more about what to see and do, as it could be worth a visit.
Travel Tips from people who've been to Amalfi
The Amalfi area is really expensive due to the high volume of celebrities who vacation there. If you walk along the main street in Amalfi with the ocean to your right you will eventually come to a restaurant perched at the top of the first hill. Walk through the restaurant and you'll find a set of stairs which take you on a short cut to the next town, Antrani. The beach in Antrani is cleaner, and the hotels overlooking it are half the price of those in Amalfi.

Take the bus out of Naples down the coast.  It stops at all the coastal towns, which you can explore at your own pace, then catch the bus to the next location or back to Naples.  It is much less treacherous them driving it yourself.

Amalfi is a beautiful & romantic place, situated on the Valley of the Mills, near to: Positano, Sorrento, Capri. Great to spend a honey moon..and enjoy in blue.. For the people like me, i just love it! Best sight, best fish & great people!
