Travel Tips from people who've been to Modena
Modena is the home of Ferrari and also one of the Grand Prix race tracks.  The Grand Prix is held there during a one week period.  During the week before the week-end race, visitors can freely roam the pits and see the cars close-up.  Many Europeans arrive early and camp in the adjacent campgrounds for the entire week.  By the week-end when the actual race occurs it gets crowded and more expensive.

If you like cars and you are planning going to Modena,is like a Catholic going to the Vatican, and don't forget to bring with you some extra cash, because the Ferrari's shop will make you crazy. You can find everything, and I mean, everything and even more than you can expect, ...with souvenirs like stickers from 10 euros to the F1 block used by Shumy at only 75K euro... I got the sticker.
