0123you can see ravenna in one day, but it's better if u have a bicycle or a car 'cause sightseen are a bit far from each other
Things to see: Basilica di san vitale, mausoleo di galla placidia, battistero degli ortodossi, basilica di sant'apollinare nuovo (you have to pay 10,50 but u get one ticket for all), tomb of dante, mausoleo di teodorico.

0173The city of Ravenna is amazing. There is not just one church with Byzantine art in it, but like six or seven of them and there's lots of history behind them. Take your time to read a history book about the city and then visit the city with all the history in the back of your head. It will be as good as visiting Istanbul or Rome!

51413Old Byzantine city, with marvellous architecture. Nothing special about nightlife. Mainly for those who are into culture stuff. I've met some friendly student, not sure if it's luck or usual.
