Travel Tips from people who've been to Riccione Marina
Riccione is a beautiful city in Italy. It is a great place to get the local feel of Italian life. It is on the coast so there are a lot of tourist but they are European tourists - Italians from other parts of the country and people from other european countries. It is quaint and lovely. They have street fairs during the summer that go late into the night. They sell lots of trinkets and locally made crafts. It is great. I loved it there. The beach is beautiful and you are looking out on the Adriatic sea. I am a vegetarian but my friend is not. She was served some of the freshest sea food that I have ever seen. Everything was so crisp and fresh every night we at out. Yum! Make sure and bring a light jacket. Good tip? (0) My second favourite place on the planet...well so far. It's hot, sandy and got fabulous shops. Riccione though can be a bit pricey, but if you go a short distant to Cattolica it's prices are much more reasonable and in some instants, cheaper! Not by much though as Italy can be a tad expensive.
Locals in Riccione are generally friendly with the exception of some of the more pricey shops where they can be a tad stuck up. But purchasing some fabulous bit of Italian wear more than makes up for their attitude! You don't need to live with them after all! Good tip? (0)
