You might definitely bring a dictionary, because most of the italians are not very good in foreign languages or better in speaking german than english. Lignano offers a lot of little hotels and restaurant that you wanna see. And get some spaghetti ai frutti di mare, they are the best there!!!!
If you can, got there by train or by bus or rent a car, so you will not miss the landscape, the people and spare your money for something different (food and clothing) than gas.

So be sure, that you have much money or stay at a camping place (in a tent or in a camper), so that you don't spend to much money for your hotel.
